Got my flyies in the mail today. Took 3 days...they look great. The clousers look awsome as well as the PMD. I heard these guys are on this forum so i just wanted to say thanks and i will definately be ordering some more. I would recomend these flies to all. Fast service,great price, and nice looking flies. I'm kind of new to this and this might be a dumb question but i have no idea what diploids and triploids are. Whats the diff in these two. Are they different kinds or is it different years of groth maybe. I'm trying to learn

Thanks Rick.....i they are as good as that guy says i might get a pair. Weird sizes though L,LXL,XL is the way the sizes go but the LXL is not on thier size chart.

can you buy those snobee's here? Prices are all in pounds. 129 for the pair i was looking at. Not sure what that is in dollars.

I agree with you both Don and MTB about some of your points. I have taken an old girlfriends son out to a spot that i new you could allways catch a whitie because he had never caught a fish b-4. I guess i meant that i think most of the fly people on here are not going out to target the whities, especially the newer guys. I am NOT for killing them or any other fish in our streams and lakes. As i stated b-4 a white fish is certainly better than no fish and i guess if someone wanted to take me to a place where we could be into 100 whities on the fly in a day i'd be all over that. Ed

I am one of the guys you speak of that has said i was dissapointed about catching a whitefish. Do i kill it..absolutly not. Am i happy about catching it. Probably not but a whitfish is better than getting skunked. I go out there to catch trout if i can. It's just more fun. Most whitefish are like dragging in a log. I sure wish they would fight like a trout because i caught some pretty big whitefish and suckers this winter. I also don't eat any fish i catch. I don't think there is a flyfisherman or women out there that would tell you that they went out trying to catch whities on there fly rod, they just happen.

ya deals would be great. We could plan a trip down to Cuba to go Tarpon and bone fishin...

I didn't look through the archives but has anyone ever asked about FFC being a club as well as a chat forum. We have get togethers, clinics, raise money for good causes, Rick cooks us breakfest. Would there be any benefit to making this a club as well? I would certainly be a member. What is everyone's thoughts on this.

Just ordered the Bow river pack.....30 Bucks for 36 flies. NICE.

I say do it where we had the bow river clean up. Tons of people can fit on the shore at hulls wood and there is lots of space to spread out. Picnic tables to do your fly tying as well. Looking forward to it.

most of the fuel stations around have diesel now due to the popularity of these trucks and the diesel cars. I read someone talk about the noise. The new diesels or a least the chev. allison duramax is no louder that a car. Consultant at work has one and you can't even hear it running. We have the ford f350 and 250 at work and you have to turn them off in the timmy's drive thru so you can order.
