hey harry if u are finding your fly is doubling up on you try using a shank of hook half the length as the back one or vise versa..ive had this happen a few times messing around with jointed flies and find some patterns hinged more than others depending on were the weight is and the shape of the front and back halfs...

its all in the practice birchy...it does tangle more than a double but if u are fishing a double with splitshot u might aswell fish 3 because u have 3 hinges in teh line anyway...it will come dont sweat it i found alot of times this year when i started or added a 3rd fly too the clients rod and didnt tell them they didnt tangle much or anymore than before...once they found out..tangle city....seems too be abig mental thing dealing with a 3rd hook flying by ones head...

fishing line on teh ground can be anything i bet..most seems too be big spools of mono from spin fishing reels from waht ive seen......... fluro negative andy would be its sinks, dont stretch and cost asmuch as the ice on a pimps neck...apples or oranges? i carry a little of both and after from what a few memebr have posted..may carry a little more...or less.....in certain situations

hey dude i had tons of luck with a simple tye..rabbit strip tail tehn wrap the rabbit up teh shank...chartreuse, black, white...clouser minnows and double bunnies worked too........or tye up your favorite jig combos but wollybugger style......goodluck dude

hey rusty i would reccomend the loop 11' 6" 8weight....its my go to spey for the bow both nymphing and streamer fishing...as for reels i would say for jsut over 100bucks the loop clw 8twelve will ahve more than enough room....pm sent the biggest qustion is what kidn of fishing are you planning on doing..do you plan on shooting line, tossin mega streamers, swingin with teh same length....
