sorry for the late responce but the airflo 40+ cold salt in a full sink is epic!!! my go to bulltrout line and walleye line!!! think is unreal for casting larger flies and sinks maybe a little too fast insome situations
hey dude that can definetly happen it could be the sink time on your nymph o weight not dragging it down a ton or reallyfast i definetly see this often but like flyangler said sometime the fish are pretty quick before u see anything happen.. one option could be fishign two droppers so u ge tmore weight or using lighter tippet to it slices through the water faster!
bin fishing the 12'r and 13'5"r this past week! and loving them!!!!!! the 12'r is a stellar steelie/trout stick with either a 480 or 510 grain skagit!!! the 13'5" is a freakin cannon with a 720 skagit i can move almost any fly way the hell out there!!!!!!!! if anyone in cowtown wishes too give these two sticks a go shoot me a pm! will be lurking the bow the next 4 days before i head west for a week!!!!
chase that fish dude!!! i use 0x and heavier when streamer fishing the bow!!! havnt u ever saw a river runs through it!!! side pressure down and towards te bank too helps!! we all get beat dont sweat it!!! but sidepressure and moving down with the fish can be key to improving your odds!
this is a must sign ladie and gents!!! i have yet too fish the mighty T but wish too soon and for a very long time aswell! wild steelhead are sacrid fish n some ways and need too be protected!!!!!!! only takes a minute too punch in your info!!!!!!!!!!!
lost my phone down in teh castle region yesterday. if anyone found it its in a black otter case, browntrout screen save with a passcode lock on it i will guide ya for free for a day!!! i konw its a long shot and i ave replaced my phone today BUT i could use alot of the info on it! thanks in advance! tightlines!
probably a water beetle of some sort dude they do migrate... use to get all sorts of water bugs landing on ym trampoline as a kid thinking it was water... pictures would be dope!
make sure too check the river you are fishing does or dosnt have seperate catch limits.. most of them do! those regs dotn fly on teh bow, highwood, sheep, oldman, livingstone, crow etc... they hav there own regulations.......
sick pics dude! love the decal!!! dotn touch that plant with teh black veins in on teh pedals.. henbane of some sort! crazy poisonous ive bin told!!! a extremely active plant that may not kill ya but mess u up real good!!!!! can even obsorbe the oiul or wutever through teh skin!!!!! they do look real cool tho!!!!!!!!
those last 3 shots are lake whitefish dude!!!!!!!! nicely done!!!!!!!! not the everyday rocky u hook on the bow! a real treat!!! and they get bigger ive seen tehm in the mid 20 range witha 16=' girth and heard rumors of 10+lb'rs in some of teh resivoirs south of town!! congrats!!!
fish will be feeding at all spots Eric! u will get fish sitting in the main channel feedig, fish stacked were the channel feeding in the main current and the side channel drop off! same with the main seam were the two currents collide in the backwash in the
middle and fish will also feed at the end of the channel were hawgstopper would be standing too feeding on whatever flows down the main current ad kicks out of the bottomg o the side channel!! I would start at the bottom and fish E C B A D in the order
dutchie pretty much nailed it! don't forget that you can fish nymphs to in he slack pockets along shore aswell! larger nymphs and darker ones are the obvious bets!! just make sure too work the water really well!! if iu only have a few inches of visibility you halfto get it within that range!! if you more Than a inch or two away from he fishes face they won't even k ow your flies are there!!
because u need to stop drinking the tap water hoss! kinda diggin the major snow in the mountains is just beginning to melt! was tons of it out in k country Friday when I took a wander out that way!!! what's the snow situation down ur way
