he is using a 5wt and bbb i saw these videos a few weeks back and headed straight to the field to practice. its alot easier on grass but i tried taking it to the water and it changes everything. look how effortless he casts. dont waste your time in a field take it to the water somewhere your not worried about spooking the hole.

you might want to look into buying a temple for outfitters rod they fish really nice and have lifetime waranty. you can pick one up for around 2-300. its no fault lifetime waranty aswell. so you break it all you do is send the rod into them with 25$ for shipping and they give you a new tip. a few shops will just take the 25$ and your rod tip send it in and just give you a new one. these rods also fish really well. i fished a temple fork and a g loomis in the same day and the diffrence is so small hardly worth the 300+$ diffrence

and to be honest i dont really care. i go up there all the time even though i have seen it kicking around. it doesnt bother me, just thought i was doing the right thing by reporting it.

no after i spot the cougar twice and i call it in. there are no postings or warnings about it even though it is a fairly busy area. im just disapointed that they did not warn the public. calling it in was basiclly a waste of time.

there is another cougar in the city i have seen. hangs around bearspaw damn, seen him a couple times anywhere from the parking lot all the way down. called it in 2 months ago then agian last week. do they do anything? nope they are useless. i more or less got told off last time i called. they will realise when someone gets hurt or dies. but there is only so much a person can do.
