  2. lol, everyone in my family has had at least one hook in the foot my mom was telling me she went home from my place last week and couldnt figure out what was wrong with her toe, under further examination she found it was a fish hook lol!!!!
  3. So its not just me lol. That drives me nuts, I cant find anything i just put down thanks man, will have to try that one!!!
  4. When I bought my pontoon boat a few years back the guy told me I needed one of these on board, by law. I told him it was for a pontoon boat which would make it impossible to bail out and he said it didnt matter. All supplies are inside the bailing bucket: obviously you need a few comfort items and such but i do think you need something like this aboard, anyone??
  5. AWESOME!!!
  6. saw one down in douglasdale last year before the flood. scared the crap out of me because i had never seen one in real life before. It was huge IMO probably 2'-3' long and not afraid at all.

  10. Hey Art, Ive got AZ Semi Seal Black, its called black but is black with some green sparkle, you can see it in the picture, Ive also got black/red, the red black is a lot more black, looks really red in the pic. I know its not black/blue (never seen it) but you can have some if you would like. IMO bloody leach is the best colour, ive also got a couple bags of that, just saying anyways man Im home all day today, let me know. BF
  11. Been to three fly shops and not only cant I get yellow but have only found two other bags of sculpin wool all together, red and olive. Does anyone know where i can get sculpin wool, yellow preferably and or is there another material that does the exact same thing? I bought mcfly foam and its nothing like it.
  12. Number 6/8 mustad just like the wire worm pictured above, 24G red wire. IMO, the most productive way to tie it was just a red wire wrap, no bead, no thread just red wire. You always want to add something to it after tying a few but with the san juan I found that the more i added the less I caught. Ive also found on the floats ive done that guides like to tie on the big ones size 2s. I dont believe I used a San Juan last season, just went with the PT soft hackle on its own, worked tremendously!
  13. 0-4 thats how the whole season went, kinda glad thats over. Spring hockey here we come!!!!
  14. 4-1 loss in the first one we havnt beat them yet this year...
  15. Chris Helm is also a guy that can spin the deer hair, bought one of his vids awhile back and went from there. Just sayin...
  16. Blackfoot tourney starts today!!! Just saying
  17. lol, its always the clubs the fault... Theres so many things to consider, fast, med, slow not everyones cut out to cast one or the other as in a stiff or regular shaft in golf, hockey stick, whatever. The bottom line is that its the guy working the tool that makes the magic happen
  18. things got some shoulders...
  19. rods are like hockey sticks, golf clubs, mt bikes etc. seems like all companies have a low, mid and high range of products and for the most part all the stuff is good these days its just a matter of what you want. Callaway's or Pings? I don't believe ones better than the other, they're both good which one do YOU want, same goes for rods. You can spend as much or as little as you want, when you find the one that suits you, you'll love it regardless of the name. I'll be honest, I think im going to take a rod building course, catching a fish on your fly is one thing, the thought of catching a fish on a rod that i built myself excites me. I fish Sage GLoomis and TFO rods, I never consider one being better than the other.
  20. Small foam ant patterns are great. Me personally, i like the big foamy stuff hence the name :)hoppers, skid bitches etc...
  21. I know man, just jokes
  22. No man i was using floating line and about a 7' leader, it wouldnt sink at all so im thinking the head was to big. Ive got the streamer line loaded onto a reel so next time out give it a go.
