  1. I also use Loon UV. You can coat it with head cement or build it up with hard as nails, theres another loon product for making heads, forget what its called. Used to use epoxy but, is to messy and time consuming.

  5. I have to get on some Boatmen tying. Is that a pattern you've used before...effective? Looks great! Those beetles also look cool. Ive never used a beetle.

  9. That road is in typically rough shape to begin with. Im sure with all the snow this year that its pretty bad. If it stays this cold and continues to snow, who knows, maybe June...arghhh
  10. Bron: Yes they are, gold to light yellow. bcubed: Yes, would Imagine thats why they come in a variety of colours.
  11. Not 100% sure on that. Ive looked at read a lot of stuff on the internet and theyre usually in a range of colours. Pink, orange, pearl, yellow, green etc.
  12. The Crystal Meth is a sucker spawn egg pattern. As I continue to read I do believe this pattern will work. On the Bow, looks like fall while the Browns are spawning would be most productive for trout as they do spawn in the bow river.
  13. Just curious, I have never used or tied an egg pattern. I did however tie some Crystal Meth patterns today. I read up a bit, apparently theyre a good spring pattern and Trout will eat them. Any feedback on whether they're a good Trout pattern on the Bow.
  14. Love the looks of this fly. Any chance you could post the rib and red material used to tie it?
  15. Yes the wire is gold and the back is also gold.
  16. This is definitely a Damsel pattern. 10, 8 and 6.
