  1. Make sure you use a 20 amp T slot receptacle on that as well.
  2. Deep cycle batteries are designed to get drained completely without damaging the battery.
  3. A 50W solar panel is pretty small. You can get a couple of 220W panels for under a grand. that out puts, 36 amps with the proper electronics that would charge your battery significantly any day of the year.
  4. I have been camping and people had Genny that where running and i did not hear it. Its those big damn contractor generators i cant stand, and the best part is with those ones is you can usually change the frequency to 50 hz from 60.
  5. I have a trailer made in 78, it has lights and a pump, it went 8 days without needing a charge on a group 27 battery from costco (kirkland signature). With that said you could just bring the battery back and forth, and charge it when home. Also order your solar panel out of the states, WAY cheaper. My boss gets a sweet deal, like half of what the RV places charge. If you did solar power, it should charge your battery enough for a weekend, thoughout the week. Genny is the best way to go but get a quiet on cause one, and if i hear it at night, i will sabotage it.
  6. excellent point Trailhead,
  7. From what I get when I talk to the yanks, is they don't want to pay for another persons health problems. I would say i have talk to about 30 Americans about this and 3 or 4 are okay with it. Everyone else goes, they can take care of themselves. The one question i ask them is what if it was you. What if you lost your job and lost your health benefits, and then ended up with cancer, how would pay for it. Never got a reply. I believe they have the crime they have is partly do there the laissez-faire way of thinking. I don't do know you there for not my problem. I'm not a mike Moore fan but his last 2 movies Capitalism a love story and his medical one have some truths to them i think everyone should think about what is said in those 2 movies (don't take his word for it however do your research and question what everyone in the media says). That said, they are more socialist than they think, when a government bails out companies to the tune of 700 billion dollar they are socialist in my books. If i ran a business and knew the government would bail my ass out, what is my intensive to run it properly.
  8. That roll up the rim thing, that some really bad coffee comes in.
  9. Its also my understanding you can get donuts to put on your oars that help prevent you from loosing your oars, that is all i have ever seen on the boats i have rowed.
  10. Personally i would get the Amundson TXS, it 100% machined aluminum, and has a solid sealed cork drag system, and its 100 bucks at fishtales. http://amundson.ca/accessories/flyreels/TXS.html Nick
  11. Yea i would not go less than a group 24 size battery that said, i find the best value deep cycle batteries are from Costco, they are solid.
  12. My opion if they have seams they leak. I got a pair of redingtons now took at least 40 trips before i got a seam leak but they have no tears or anything. Had baileys before that for 3 years and a lot of time on the water and bush hiking, and they where seam leaking after about a year. I just use aqua seal till, it don't work no more.
  13. I Have a custom built fly tying bench, i built with my dad. We built it out of G1s plywood and MDF. It looks good but i just dont use it as i like to sit infront of the TV and tie flies. One thing i wish it did have was more depth, but it does have enough draws 8 across the top and 3 in the front, and the middle one in front for garbage. If i get a chance ill take a couple pics. If it was me i would be sure that i would want to tie all my flies in the same place, or your sinking alot of money into something that you may not use all that much.
  14. Would never happen in canada people are afraid of guns. In the states quite a few cities have parks hunts, from deer to birds they will have a draw and close a park for a few days of the week for a month, and the results have been quite positive apperently. Last i rememeber policemans is legal to hunt see many husks from shottys down there, i pick em up for the people that get caught in the moment running to go get there ducks.
  15. That is why, we all should take up duck hunting. I believe they sold 25000 waterfowl licenses last season. They are even try to get states that our birds migrate though to increase there daily duck limits.
  16. The best stratagey is when you have hammer is to clear the house, that said if any of the first 4 rocks throw are put up as guards they can not be removed till so many rocks stand. What i dont get is why she would not toss another guard and let her scoreing rocks stand. She in the mind of many curlers i know belive she gave the game to the sweds.
  17. 100% agreed, most of those rubber soled boots still have laces a great place for invaders to hitch a ride to new waters.
  18. Hey PSFG in the parks it one fly only? That is what i get out of the parks regs.
  19. If he still has bifocals, i don't thing he had corrective laser surgery.
  20. What they mean by lite is what is used for the frame, on a "Lite" trailer they use aluminum studs, and standard trailers still get good old wood studs. Also all Lite trailers have a fiberglass skin, that is much more ridged than the other styles (most trailer are the new fiberglass skin but not all)
  21. So is part of Tiana's input a way to attach your IPOD to your rod, cause i always remember her with her phones in floating out in policeman's.
  22. Biggest environmental cleanup know to man.
  23. I find that you get better deals on 2 piece rods as they is much less demand for them that said owe a few 2 pieces and a few 4 pieces, use em all. But for hiking i take the 4 piecers.
  24. Dont forget you can buy tickets for the raffle off H20 5 bucks a pop.
  25. Can you keep the ones out of the BOW? They are tasty so tasty i would eat it out of the bow.
