While in S.E Asia, I spent a few months living and sleeping in a hammock trying to save a buck or two. From my experience, there great to chill in but sleeping they are ok. Found that my shoulders always felt cramped while laying on my sides and I missed having that vertical stretch room. The bottom would also cool off fast when the temps would drop but it's also a great feeling being off the forest floor!

Anyone happy with the trades? I think O'Sullivan is gonna fit in here. He's affordable at 2.9 a year and he's signed for 2 more seasons. Then there's also Kotalik for a 2nd rounder too! Think we came out on the winning end of those deals. Too bad it had to be Cole though, he was finding his game. Kinda hoped we would dump one of our plugs...

I am looking for some alternative wrapping wire to add weight to my streamers and buggers. Looking for something that is as flexible as lead and is close to the same weight too. I have tried "lead free" wire which I believe is made out of tin but again it's weight and flexiblity is not close to lead. Any tips or help would be appreciated.

I find the more north I go, the more likely they are willing to rise. Might have something to do with the shorter season which brings out more aggressive feeding.

I catch many bulls on dries. Not uncommon at all. Most are small ones though but some nice ones too.

Goldeye can be great dry fly action. Like Maxwell said, big bushy dries work well. If the fly is big enough I've even had Pike go for them too...
