I do that all the time.. say something loud like "It's OK I did not want to get through anyway" or "excuse Me could you get that off the shelf for me - No the one on the top shelf" or if I am passing smokers outside the doors to a shopping place etc.. +1 8 years working E911, and 6 working Ambulance, right here in wonderful Alberta Canada taught me that... The only reason I don't still do both, are injuries received from 24 years in the CF.. easy way to do this, you fish with a straight fly rod ... RIGHT !!!! take either a paint marker or some Red nail polish and a measuring tape mark on the rod in one inch increments after the handle a dot, for each inch.. I start at the 12" mark and go from there.. But to tell the truth I have not used it as I do not really care how big unless it is a one of for me, like the Brown trout that I caught with Hawgstoppah.. and he has not told me the length of it yet so I say 28 inches... is that close Brian ??

Not really sure if they do or not.. the forum that my Grandfather used to belong to was around an old stove, in a corner store, near the river, I would get sent to get coffee that would get laced with Alcool or whiskey of some type, and the issues would get sorted out.. cause the four or five local fish cops would be sitting there with the old boys.. I remember the first time I brought home an Atlantic that came from a stream that it was impossible for the Atlantics to get up.. My Gramp then took it and me to the DNR guy I got a grilling and then we took it home and cooked it so as to not waste it.. turns out a dam had blown in the big rains earlier in the spring.. The point is these guys were real and men of the community and people respected them..

They can get "out of tune" it is mostly sorry for this but "dirty" tap it on your Palm, and no eating while playing.. I have taken a couple of mine apart gently mine you and you would not believe the stuff that get in there.. Acoustics has a big effect on the sound you get also of course.. like I said play gently and one of the big things is relax relax relax.. If you can find this one it is great.. Hi FFW Here are a two sights that will help you on your journey to bending notes and playing the blues harp.. pick up a Sonny and Browne album and try to play along.. You should never feel light headed , that means you are trying too hard.. the loud stuff you hear on records and CD.s is from amplification, the Mic as it were, the harp plays better when you don't try too hard, I am trying to say don't blow or suck hard at all.. this is not a "dirty statement"... blow softly and easily in your harp and it will sound much different. http://www.bluesharp.ca/ http://www.buddygreene.com/ Enjoy.. it is one of the greatest instruments to play and when there is a harp in the band the rest of the instruments tune from it ..
