I have this glue called Hot Stuff Super T and a can of spray accelerator.It gives you time to place things and when your happy with the look a quick spray and its glued.I got it at House of Tools.

Last year i got my first 3WT,first time out i tryed a double nymph rig with 4# maxima.I was surprised on how well it casted with a little wind.I managed to hook a few good sized bows with it to ,had the rod bent right over.If it got to much i just pointed the rod at the fish and let the tippet and the reel take some of the load and walk down stream.When the fish tired a bit i was able to put the boots to it and steer it into the net,and what felt like a 20 minute battle was closer to 5.

If you wrap it 6or 7 times and pull hard on the tag end it works ,otherwise it silips .The rapala(sp?)or Kreh loop knot works well to a little harder to tie.Looks like i'm gonna have to get better at tying the kreh. it seems that most of the non slip knots are the same the only difference is where you put the tag end through.

I can see how a loop knot would be helpful on still waters ,but was wondering if it would work for fishing rivers?Anybody use loop knots on there flies and do you think it helps?

I don't know how much towing experience you have but a 3.0l V6 isn't gonna pull that much.The problem is wind and hills.I would suggest a tent trailer much more aerodynamic,and will save you a ton in fuel.

Hmmm, thinking 3rd week of July.I'd say go to beachs and look for bikini's.
