  1. I own a Panasonic Lumix TS2 and it's awesome. A bit pricier than most but worth it. It's my second Lumix and I've never had problems with either of them. I bought the waterproof one specifically for fishing. used it in the ocean, on the river and in the pool. Pics turn out every time.
  2. Thanks Tungsten for posting those pics for me. Cheers, Mike
  3. Sorry, Photos didn't upload properly and are too big of files to upload as images.
  4. Made it out with BenBear last night. It was finally nice to be able to fish now that the splint is off and the finger is broken no more. It was a beautiful night for fishing. I hooked on to 6 in total but was only able to bring 2 to the net. Benbear wasn't as fortunate, not from lack of effort though, he hooked 1 but wasn't able to bring him in. I had a good time and look forward to meeting up with Benbear on the river in the future. Webby 1 - Benbear - 0 Fish_2.htm Fish_2_Underwater.htm Fish_1.htm
  5. Those are some nice pics you got with the olympus. My profile pic was taken with one (i think th 720) and it's no where near as clean and clear as yours....hmmm more decisions to make i guess. Cheers
  6. Well it was frozen. I was heading down to bow/highwood junction.
  7. Hey, does anyone know of any good spots to fish near Aspen Beach on Gull Lake. Not looking to fish Gull Lake itself, but hoping there's some good streams nearby. Heading out there for May Long weekend.
  8. I talked to a guy at one of the camera shops here in town about the new Optio w90. Cant remember which one. He was saying that the previous model the w80 was not a good camera. He had gotten a lot of bad reviews from unhappy customers. I was interested in the w90 until he told me that. He also mentioned that the Olympus models had poor picture quality. I guess it's a trade off, quality or price. He recommended the TS2 or the Canon one (not the model number). I'm hoping to get the TS2 in the next couple of months. I'd rather have picture quality and durability for the higher price. The TS2 also has a 30 ft depth, and i believe it was 10ft drop proof. NE ways, that's my 2 cents. Cheers,
  9. Yeah. I love mine. So much that when I broke it 2weeks ago slipping on the Highwood I went out this weekend and bought another. Bass pro shop. Onsale right now for half price. $22. It was cheaper than the fiberglass repair kit I was going to buy to fix the old one. Way better price than the $150 - $200 for the Brodin Ghost nets or the Orvis ones.
  10. Awesome video. I still haven't gone fishing for Bulls. Would love to though i've been told they're a blast.
  11. Yeah, you missed me. If there's still a spot i'm in. No worries if there isn't cheers, Mike
  12. Not sure if you received my previous post, but wanted to check if there is an extra slot in the league, i'm definitely interested.
  13. I'm interested if there is still a spot available. Let me know
  14. Nice Brown, I've been thinking of floating down the red deer. What part did you float?
  15. Nice Bass, I've yet to try bass fishing on the fly. Thinking of giving it a whirl in the Okanagan in a few weeks.

  19. Nice cutties man
  20. Beauty of a Brown
  21. red copper wire and hook for me. Best thing, they are so easy to make. So easy, the wife can do them for me too. ( Not that I have gotten her to do them...lol)
  22. yeah. The underwater shot was a little mediocre. Gotta blame the photographer though. Don't think he knew how to use a camera. (rufus, way to pat yourself on the back)
  23. Well, Got out Saturday morning with the Bro-in-law to the Bow. Wasn't too bad. Water was definitley higher than it was the weekend prior. Way faster too. Visibility wasn't too bad, but not great either. Wow was there a lot of fluff. It looked like it was snowing. I was the lucky one this day, caught me a nice rainbow. Saw a few rising. One jumped at the end of my fly line on my first cast out. Cheers, Mike
