flytyer101 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Hi all, Im trying to get into tying some bully flies and am wondering what glue to use to glue the rabbit strips togeather on a doubble bunny. I heard Tear mender works well, because it's not messy and drys in 2 minutes, but cant find it any where. Do you guys have any idea on what to use or where to buy tear mender? It is made for gluing fabric and leather but works super well as it is very strong. Thanks for any help. Quote
sirocco Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Hey Terrance, Tear Mender is awesome stuff. I picked up a bottle at Canadian Tire in the camping section. I think troutfitters also carried some at one point. Quote
Din Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Aquaseal is not bad as well, only thing is drying time. But it is still quite flexible when it is dry. Quote
bhurt Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I use Zap-A-Gap but the funny thing is that when I first put it on it smarted to smoke. Quote
flytyer101 Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 I think Canadian tire only sells the little one. Im trying to get the big bottle. Quote
Stimmy Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I like Zap-A-Gap Gel, easy to apply, and dries pretty quick. Duncan Quote
