Taco Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 It's a old 135 Martin sold by Sears as a Ted Williams, got it off eBay. I recently started to have an interest in fishing vintage equipment. Kinda fun. Quote
LynnF Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I LOVE those sturgeon pics....sturgeon rock....one day. Where'd ya catch them Clarki, on the Fraser? All these pics are so great - the colours on some of these fish are amazing. I'm not even paying attention to the size Quote
clarki Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 donnamatrix: those are lake sturgeon from the south sask. the fraser has the white sturgeon. M Quote
clarki Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 ok here's a couple more sturgeon pics. i couldnt resist.... the first couple are 44 inchers (FL) and then a not so great pic of my biggest to date.... a 54 incher (FL) that I hooked and landed while fishnig alone!! Thats a 9 ft. rod its laying next to. the last one is the tail of the 54 incher. MikeM Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Awesome pictures everyone!! Here's a few of mine... East arm of Great Slave lake in July! Unfortunately after the long fight, the guide wouldn't let me handle this beauty on my own. Quote
Maximum Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 MikeM, is that brown in your last picture missing part of its gill plate or is it just the angle? Quote

reevesr1 Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 My fav to date. I love the way the arms of the Tarantula stick out! Taken on the Livingstone. And this one, though a split second earlier would have been nice, but I really like the colors. Same trip on the 'stone. Quote
hydropsyche Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Not the biggest but this puppy was pulled out of the Bow River. Quote
