Fishnhound Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Hi all. Looking for any advice or recommendations on getting my Clacka Lo Pro re gel coated. Bottom has seen better days and is due for some TLC. Anyone know of or could recommend a place for repairing some chine dings and re coating. Help much appreciated. cheers Quote
SilverDoctor Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 Maybe just post it here, there seems to be a lot of interest. Quote
Diredale Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 Just had gel coat work done in my Hyde. https://fibrfx.ca/ Turned out great. Not sure about how easy it is to do the Clackacraft dimpled hulls. cheers, Dave Quote
razz Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 At the end of each season I clean my boat with a cutting compound, then polish and wax. I also repair the chines with a marine compound. This is all done while my boat is off the trailer and put on a stand in my garage/shop. Throughout the winter I’ll have a lot of extra time so if anyone is interested in having the same process done to their boat send me a message and maybe we can arrange something. Cheers Quote
cgyguy Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Sorry I missed sharing this, but someone did anyways. Fibrefix was great for me and the work was done on time and as quoted. Easy peasey. Cheers Quote
Fishnhound Posted April 5, 2022 Author Posted April 5, 2022 Razz. Question for you. How do flip your drift boat when repairing. Curious as I’m getting ready to do some hill work. Quote
