reevesr1 Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Just read the Lefty Kreh passed away today. I wish I would have met him as I've heard he was a pleasure to be around with great stories and jokes to go with all that talent. RIP Mr. Kreh. 1 1 Quote
rudedawg Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 He lived a pretty interesting life, including surviving exposure to anthrax! RossMurphy Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I sat down at my bench today intent on tying dragonfly nymphs and ended up tying some all white decivers instead. Seemed appropriate. Quote
jksnijders Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 I have a copy of his Fishing Knots book, that has the added bonus of his signature in the front couple pages that I didn't notice when I picked it up. Probably gonna pass that one down one day. Ken from Springbrook had some pretty cool stories about him the last time I stopped in there also. RIP Quote
BigFoamy Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 I also have an autographed "Fishing Knots" by Lefty. Picked up a 5W Lefty Kreh Signature Series rod a few years back at a Trout Unlimited dinner/auction as well. RIP Lefty Kreh Quote
