Everyone groans on camera and off camera. And Barb Higgins pipes up and says, "Hey, that looks like the Calgary Flames record." It was funny at the time. Maybe you had to see it. Check the standings dude I think Edmonton's plan was to initiate a youth movement while staying competitive, whereas Calgary with their supposed great line-up and new coach were expected by most 'experts' to make a deep run into the playoffs. edit: obviously the season is relatively young, and I'm not saying that Calgary's hopes to be a cup contender are gone, but I don't think bottom feeding was part of their plan.
