A few years ago I stiffened up a mottled turkey feather to use as wing cases for stoneflies. Well I've used up the last of that feather and need to do another. Does anyone remember what I used to lacquer the feather? ;) I don't think it was head cement as I assume it would make the feather brittle. Flexament perhaps?

What do you guys use?

Go to an art shop and get Fixitif. Comes in a spray can and is used for sealing charcoal/pencil drawings.

Pricey but a can will last years.
