murray Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Today, for the first time in my life I was a branch manager(Poplar Branches that is). Spent the entire day cutting, lifting and hauling branches from my neighbour and my front yard. About 1000 pounds and not even close to being done. My back is sore. Murray Quote

darrinhurst Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I also lost about 1/3 of my big poplar out front. Spent sunday cutting, moving and raking up branches just so I could walk from the street to my front door. Craziness! Quote
Taco Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 T'aint that crazy, August long weekend in about 1975 I ran a 25 head pack string over Mystic Pass in BNP through 4 feet or more of fresh overnight snow. Snow was up to my boot tops while I was sittin' on a 17 hand horse. Mid August 1993 this area got 30-40 cm of snow, flattened the still growing crop and we lost all 2500 acres we had planted. Quote
