fishinglibin Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 Hello zuggbugg. Cool that you joined and from the Netherlands. Have you fished Canada many times, as you said again. Those are beautiful locations. Have you ever fished the Bow? What is your favorite species to fish at home, and what type of variety you have ? My wife has been there, but I have not. Just Curious. Regards Paul Quote
zuggbugg Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Hello Paul, This summer will be the 13th time for us in Canada. I've fished a lot but never the bow river because we usually head straight into the mountains. Over here i fish for trout aswell in lake Oostvoorne, its brakish water that has mainly rainbow and brown trout in it. There are a lot of different species of fresh water fish one could fly fish for but that's not for me, i'd rather hook a nice trout. Grtzzz, Tom Quote
fishinglibin Posted March 26, 2014 Author Posted March 26, 2014 I appreciate that Tom. The mountains are wonderful, and trout is my choice as well. I still fish other species, but trout is it. Post how the trip went, when done. Regards Paul Quote
zuggbugg Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Will do Paul, we'll be over from july 24 until August 21. When we get back i'll let you know how i did. Hopefully i can report a new personal record and wouldn't it be sweet if i catch it on one of my home tied flies Grtzzz Tom 1 Quote
