reevesr1 Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Middle shot of the first batch could go in the "Remember to Breath" ad campaign. Very nice. 2 Quote

Muffin Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Great pictures, looks like a really great first season. I especially enjoyed the one with the buildings of downtown in the background. 1 Quote
DaveJensen Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 A lot of awesome pics. No doubt a magazine will be graced with their presence. Good for you! Boy, that evening thunderhead shot was two angle shifts and a slight zoom away from being All-World (but that's just one perspective because it captured great mood) Cheers Quote
troutlover Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 looks like someone knows their way around a camera AMAZING shots. Thanks for sharing! Quote
jasonvilly Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Awesome photos, in fact so good I went back and looked at mine and they all look like crap now. You were able to capture so much more than the typical grip and grin. You should consider doing a workshop....seriously....something I would definitely sign up for. Is that a Yellowstone cutt or golden in series 6? Quote
Fishslayer74 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 No kidding those are amazing pictures. Quote
Castuserraticus Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Every pic I've ever taken now looks like a crayon drawing. Quote
darrinhurst Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Stunning and amazing shots Adrienne. Really captured some of our provinces beauty. Well done! Thanks for posting these. They made my eyes very happy. Quote
Adrienne Posted November 29, 2012 Author Posted November 29, 2012 Thanks everyone! I just love taking pictures. Sometimes it's just about being willing to put the rod down, or pause on the hike in to take out the camera. I have a basic DSLR, and more often than not just shoot on automatic. The more pictures I take, the easier it is to figure out angles and light. BiggyJ - That is a golden trout, they are such an amazingly beautiful fish. Quote
SteveM Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 First season in AB??? Hang in there. Don't worry, eventually you'll figure things out & start catching some decent fish; you might even find some pretty spots to chase fish in! Kidding, of course. A whole bunch of calendar/magazine worthy pics in this post. Thanks for sharing them; hope we'll see more from you in the future??? I really like the one of the pink streamer splashing down; that is purely awesome. Regarding the pic of the thunder head above: What date was this pic taken? I think I watched that storm in the distance as I was driving back from fishing one evening. It was a great light show; at one point, a huge bolt of lightning came out of the overhanging part of the cloud (on the left), down across the clear sky. It was just phenomenal! Great stuff!!! Quote
Adrienne Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 Thanks Bob! That thunderhead shot was taken on July 12. Absolutely incredible skies that whole evening. Quote
Adrienne Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 A few more from that same night. Quote
