brownonbow Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 if its a Z and an islander reel its mine! Ouch! That's gotta sting a little. Quote
Muffin Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I am just curious and not trying to be a smart ass, but how does one go about losing a rod? I can see a net, a box of flies, heck even a person's sanity/patience when fishing but a rod and reel seems tricky. Quote
ÜberFly Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Easy if you have a couple of rods on a pontoon boat and you don't have enough rod holders and lay the 2nd rod down ( eh Gil!!!!) P I am just curious and not trying to be a smart ass, but how does one go about losing a rod? Muffin Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Oh okay I see. I can see how that could happen. Quote
fishinglibin Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Oh okay I see. I can see how that could happen. One friend had his dog knock it out of the boat. There is also canoe capsize. Over the years I have found three rods. Quote
Muffin Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 3 wow, I guess when you stop and consider the boat factor and people/animals knocking it over the edge it makes sense. Quote
hopdrop Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 if its a Z and an islander reel its mine! Nyet......ouch. It's an older Sage, hopefully that jogs some memories. I'd really like to get this returned to it's owner. I left a rod on the bank three weeks ago, and had it back in my hands the same day. So now it's my turn. Quote
