Thanx for the tips and experiences, and of course the smart ass remarks..lol. ....By the end of yesterday, I could not walk and the pain was worse than having a broken bone, the pain was gettin close to a kidney stone pain level (I passed one when I was 20 years old)....Thank god my brother brought over some leftover Tylenol 3's last night, or I would have lost my mind...The Meds, black cherry juice and liters of water seem to be workin, its a little better today, I can slowly walk again, I had to crawl to the bathroom last night.....I think I narrowed the gout down to the warm weather we had therefore BBQ'ing daily=to much meat and beer consumption,...However I am going to be a lot more cautious from here on in, I do not want gout again!!! Woke up this morn to a strange new crazy ass pain, I have never felt before, in my foot just above my big toe, Hmm, wonder if I can walk on it???...Put weight on it and holy shmoly, the pain was a broken bone like kinda pain....wondering what the heck could have caused it, it then kicked in my head that my Brother had Gout in his big toe for the 1st time about 6 weeks ago, and he was one hurtin unit....Talked to my Mom, and she said it runs in her side of the family, and her twin Brother gets it often....Also knowing a friend of mine had it last year, I phoned him up to see if he had any meds left from his last attack, He did, I work for him doin yard maintenance, so he guessed I wasnt joining him today at work, and he was right, I can hardly walk....Been doin some research this morn on Gout...Its a nasty thing....Just thought I would share this great new experience, and wondering if Anyone one else get this pain in the ass crap, if so, did you find out a way to prevent it, other than meds??? (I dont like meds) or have any personal tips???.... ..Jeff...

Orvis is a sloid company...I have broke some Orvis rods, and they get the rods (bran spankin new, most the time) back to you pretty darn fast ( couple weeks or less after you ship it.)...Not a bad word to say bout them there guy's...And, the tech support is great as well... Cheers...Jeff..

Nope, never heard any Turkeys, the wind was howlin so bad every day, I couldn't have heard them anywho...But I did hear there are a few kicken around out there right now...Good that ya got into Hawg today...Nothin like catchin Big ice off Bows to cure the winter Nasties... Cheers...Jeff..

Fishin was far from hot and heavy for the Big Bows, But the sight fishin was fun, and managed a good few of the biggens in the few days we/I wished it...Some were Brood stock, and Some did not appear to be Brood...But have heard that they can Clean up after some time in the Lake...Caught some real Pretty lookin fish, but did not have a camera...Dekkard and I had a Blast...

Was out in the Pass and surrounding area for a week...Was a great trip...Weather was kinda funky for a few of those days, but the fishing was still pretty good...The Crow Bows are on the move as the water came up a little in the last couple days I was there, and were starting to feed fairly hard off the surface...On day 2, I managed to hook up with a real nice healthy Male Brown that taped 19.5 inches on the Leitch stretch of the river, was really surprised!!!...Thats my 3rd upper Crow Brown in the last 8 months...Fished the 1st day with ggp and fishin was tuff, but we managed to get into a few...Dekkard came down for day 3 and 4 and had a great time sight fishing for Big Bows, and fished the Crow a bit and did O.k....Dekkard Lost an absolute pig of a Bull on the Lower Crow!!!, that thing was Huge!!..The Last couple days the Crow was fishin pretty good in the deeper runs, where they had not been until the water came up a bit...Here are few pics from dekkards camera, (Thanx Dude) as I still have not replaced mine...Always great fishin with you guys!!... I would have to say, I can pretty much relate to what everyone has said.... Although I also really enjoy the end of a fishing day, good day, bad day, solo, or with a buddy...I like to sit on the tailgate, relax, unwind from fishing mode, have a beer with a buddy and talk about the day, or sit alone and reflect on what happened, Look at the big picture and try to figure out why they were hittin good, or why they were not...Talk about Entomology, water levels, the barometer, wind directions, cloud cover, different tactics, why or why not the fish were there, look at the days pictures taken, and so on and so on...Sometimes we come up with some good ideas for the next day...The end of the day is far from my favorite part of a fishing day, However I do enjoy it, especially when a lot has happened that day, and have lots to talk, laugh and joke about... ...
