45-70 shooting the 405 grainers by remington, its the guide gun 18.5 inch barrel...They didnt make the 450 in the shorter barrel. Have you seen the new 1895 SBL (stainless big loop)...it is amazing, although I've heard they have been having problems with the extractor.

there are no predators in the lake to keep perch #'s down, they are starting to stunt. Soon it will be a 4 inch perch fest in there, with skinny 12 inch rainbows. That aint no fun...

Ya, I'm sure the 8 year old kids who brought a bucket of perch from midnapore to sundance 15 years ago will be energetic about that idea. lol... Best thing that could happen now is poision the lake and start all over, which will never be given the go ahead.

theres fish that big and bigger in our neighbouring province(sask) except they have grown to that size naturally(still triploids)... they fight excellent too..

these suckers would be killed, and frozen as soon as i get home... the idea of buying smelts at canadian tire is good except for the fact that they dont sell em big enough. Preferably I am looking for 12-16 inch suckers. as for the transfering of diseases to other water sheds..I think a month in the freezer should solve that??? any other sucker hotspots would be appreciated

anyone been getting suckers on the bow or any small streams within 2 hours of cowtown?? lookin to get a few 8-16 inch suckers for icefishing. i know its an odd request but any leads would be great

awesome fish, not sure if you do care about the record or not but what we do at my lodge up north for big lakers is use chatillon scales and weigh the net. chatillon scales IGFA approved awesome bull again!!!!
