were there is noise tehre is friction.... that was my number on concern with this product... glad dino figured out the downside too a longer taper! my second concern and problem with the line... people argue it dosnt wear out teh guides but lets see how it does on em over 4-5 years of continuous usage 100+ days a year.... specially custom builds with ceramics or the bottom ceramic guides on any rod... time will tell

yea dude they "brought em back" suppose they had problems selling there gear with the retail so high.. the prices have almost been chopped in half since htey moved too korea.. probably trying too compete with the other high end gear in teh market

it roll cats good and might cast distance a ibt easier but its because the head is mega long..... not teh standard 30+ footer on a 5 wt and 6wt is 50-60 foot head... makes life easeir tahts forsure. but i aint sold on it... have heard the ups adn downs and lets jsut say its the new "flava"

anything that floats.. probably teh easiest fish i have ever tossed a fly too. IMHO..... use too fish em here n there in teh red deer and whateer big bushy dryfly u got should work dead drifted tehn skated... had times were u would ahve 2 or 3 on teh line at teh same time.... as for nymphs.. whatever sinks.. go with black or somethign with flash if teh river is muddy.....

nope sorry dude... was a older model.... courtney i like too play! re inventing the wheel aka chopping lines is all apart of the fun. and yes i am using the 5/6 switch for my loop but just want too run something different for kicks..... playing around with your gear is what its all about and helps you understand everything alot more IMHO.... i took taht other elixer line i had for the switch teh 6/7 or 7/8 wichever it was and made a short 16foot compact mini mini skagit for a 9ft 6wt single hander of mine.. is hilarious too toss.... turns over some mega streamers too with the flick of the wrist..... fishign has bin stellar hear aswell.. hans really tapered off IMHO.... i like muddy water.. but she is clearing up and the dryfly fishign is soon too begin! goodluck rob and looking forward too reading your post and checkin your pics from you travels!
