Occasionally I'm crowded on the Bow, but I usually just start hiking when that happens. There really aren't all that many buttclowns like that on our river, and I've learned alot from other fishers (fly and spin) on the bank. Basically, if I don't want to run into anyone else, there are plenty of places within an hour drive I can go. If I'm just out for a quick fish, I accept that I may run into a jerk or two, or I may run into a helpful gentleman or two. The latter outnumber the former most days.
Dog walkers, however, can pound salt. Keep your shitzhu the hell out of my water.
