i got this on my winshield the other day at policman's. Do you know there is an application to: -dig a lake here on the bow rive and to purchase a water license to fill the lake? Both of these applications have been made to Alberta Environment and they are looking for our comments and concerns by April 18th. The lake is for the private use of 179 homes in a development calle "Sanctuary on the Bow" right beside policeman's Flats. the water license transfer is from a trout farm whish is closing on the Elbow river. The developer wants to buy a portion of the water to fill this lake. This development is going to be built if we dont let the goverment know why we don't think this is a good place for a lake and a good use for our river water. The lake is only 100 meters from the Bow River in a floodway. Does this make sense? Please write to Alberta Environment before April 18th to let them know your thoughts about these two applications. If we don't speak up about how our river is being treated it won't be long before we won't have a beautiful river to speak about. the majority of my catch in the elbow there are browns. but what about the rainbows above the weir? do they use the fish ladder to head to the highwood?

ive fished it 3 times this month and its tough to find fish. you could cast into bottom of the dam. i normally find a brown or two in there. good luck

its alright i fish in the nw a ton in the summer. i already deal with millions of rafters. im just really intrested to see how this will affect the number of fish both upstream and downstream of the weir. do you think fish will start moving up? or will it not make to much diffrence?

toyotas are tanks! my buddy bought a cheap 91 4runner for 800$ bone stock. had this thing to to the top of the hood under the water and got stuck. shut her off got it towed out let it sit for 4 hours and it started and he hasnt had a problem! the only thing that has happened since he has owned it 8 months now is an alternator.

troutslayer. shipping takes 2-3 days. flies are great only ones that i have ever had a problem with are brassies. sometimes the peacock hurl comes off, thsi could be from horrible casts etc. i have been ordering flies from them for over 6 months now. and thats all i have to complain about. i also picked up some tippet and leaders from them. its compareable to rio. im happy with it and will deffinattly be picking more up. give it a shot im sure you will like them

i have been fishing for pike in saskatchewen since i was 3. family owns a farm on the lake. my grandpa and i were out fishing and brought back 3 decent pike and our limit of pickeral sp? for lunch we had bonked them with a club and put them on a stringer. we got off the lake and walked to the shop to filet the fish. when my grandpa took the stringer out of a 10 pound pike the thing jumped at his hand! it cut the *hit out of him way worse then the guy in the video. pike are pretty rowdy fish i hate swiming anywhere near weeds in lakes that have them.

birchy i actually commented on one of his videos, i looked through all his videos to see if i could find the comment and looks like he deleted it. this is how it went nice fishing handling buddy your play those fish out pretty bad and leave them out of the water for a pretty long time. he gave his location in the video as he does in nearly every video. so i said your just making it easier for poachers to find fish. i didnt say anything nasty by any means. just stated the facts.
