Just because I know everyone cares to know.... still dealing with this..friday met my adjuster and told me they are going to write off my vehicle and settle with me now after they didn't fix anything with it since they had found it...just got and offer and its about 4k less than what my vehicle is worth...starting to really piss me off now...

So I was messing around and made this up. not sure if its an actual pattern, but anyone know what it would represent? trying to come up with a new mayfly pattern, and not sure if this would fall into that category. Thanks all.

right on, thanks guys...will try to make knotted legs and a bigger head. takes me about 20+ min to tie them so will try another day...

not bad at all. don't worry bout the hackle fibres...pain in the @ss and not worth it, still just a productive without them imo. nice tie(minus it missing one tail!)

was trying to do a couple of these up, with a slight variation...but wanted to see how it compared to the straight deer hair mice. Hook: sz 10-14 Thread: Black 8/0 Tails/Legs: black micro rubber legs body/wing case: black 1/8" stretch floss (Folded in half over body to give more of a rib look, but flat for wing case...) Dub: black *can tie with different colors of stretch floss for different stones*

Thanks, have yet to try them so can't vouch for them..but i do like the way they look. Your way would work too just more steps to tie off and restart. either way its a fairly simple tie. Mitch

carl, this is what i did... slipped the beads on first. tie in ice fur on the tail fold back over itself wrap thread 3-4 times. push beads back to touch tail then bring thread over the beads and do a couple wraps to keep the beads in place. pull over ice fur. tie in small amount of elk. then ice dub.

not sure, the lady was french who dealt with me...but she said some other guy was the one who pulled him over. no police report yet as they just were starting to go through everything will let you know if they give me a name birchy..

Got a call today from the Canmore RCMP. Vehicle was pulled over last night driving down the wrong way on hwy 1. Apparently the guy was living out of my vehicle, and had tons of stolen property in my vehicle. 10 charges laid on the guy already, and they have yet to charge him with theft of my vehicle. Bunch of needles, alcohol and *hit everywhere. No major body damage, but the inside is a nightmare. Both my rods and reels were in it, but nothing else of mine...
