Fine man learn all you thats great. Solitude and long walks isnt what Im after I never said that, were does that come from. I stated my opinion about the site affecting #'s I wasnt whinning about my spot getting poached or complaining about to many people out there and Im not dumb enough to think that there are any secret spots either so Im not sure what your content comes from. I feel like I can come here ask a question and recieve knowledge. There has been alot of comments from people on this site mentioning that awesome members from back in the day dont come around anymore because of how goofy it gets, I mention it and all of a sudden you label people that stop coming here as non learners, you are exactly whats wrong with this site. You make it personal and cause tension because of someone elses point of view. Just for the record, some of the people I mentioned that dont come here anymore were some of the most knowledgeable and skilled fly anglers Ive ever met and or fished with! Your right about one thing man, more people means more idiots out there, I think thats kinda how this whole thing got started.

100% im not complaining, its my opinion and that of many others. I'm not tryng to get flamed but it almost seems impossible to voice your thoughts and not get flamed. I voiced my opinion, said I would probably get flamed for it and I did. I dont hate the website, Im simply stating that it has affected the numbers more than most are willing to admit themselves, nobody wants to feel responsible right. I also admitted that I feel partially responsible. Everyone needs to backup and relax, not everything about this website is SUPER EXELLENT there are issues with everything all the time it just doesmt matter. I can talk or discuss problems and other perceptions and not make it personal. Stating this website has affected #'s is not a PERSONAL ATTACK on anyone but then I get personally attacked for saying it. I dont think your response is a personal attack on me, Im not going to come back and start fighting with you, just like I didnt come back and start fighting with bigtoad aftre being flamed by him or her or whoever. Alot of people are real touchy around here!

Just to clarify one thing. People say the population has doubled so that must be part of the problem. It hasnt doubled in the last 5 years thats for sure so I think Population has had a minimal affect on the over crowding/poaching problem. Back in the 80's you could fish this river anyday anytime anywhere so I also dont think the mags are the issue either. But since the website started up thet #'s have tripled or more for membership, pics have been posted, fights have started, low holing has becaome a regular occurance, drift boats are now being replaced by jet boats and I have seen it from the begining. Two years ago if you mentioned the words JET BOAT it wouldve started a mutniy, now its commen place and acceptable by all. Im still not down with Jets Boats on the Bow!!! Im with you on this one man, people suck sometimes and they ruined your day. People who arent stupid and or blind can clearly see whats going on, on the other hand people will protect whats theres and for the most part if people want acceptance people will follow! This is were I tend to get into trouble, if somthing is black and someone calls it white I will say no thats black lol. If there are enough people that want to be on the white side it really doesnt matter what shade of black it is, its still white!

Ive met you man, you seem like anice guy and a good flyfisher. But your comment is whats wrong here. I can pick up a mag and read about fishing bones in Florida, Doesnt mean Im going there. This is a local issue. It has nothing to do with people that dont live or fish here, its the daly activity and how huge its gotten since its inception. Yes the Bow is well known but people coming here to fish the river for two days once every three years arent the problem. Not that there is a problem, someone posted a rant about getting poached and I posted my opinion about why there is so much poaching going on these days. Everybody needs to mellow out and let everyone speak there mind. Like I said before, it doesnt matter who posts what, a fight is sure to start up. Fights start because of ignorant people who just refuse to see it any other way.

@ Bigtoad Im not bitching about anything, Im just not blind to the impact it's had. Its my thoughts and I knew I would get flamed, its how things work! I have also talked to a few higher ranking memeber on this site, people that have been around for awhile and its always the same conversation. "Man I wish I could go back and start this over" "Geez I feel partially responsible for whats gone around here" etc. so do I. Its always the same content. Winter fishing on the Bow is awesome. Yes the water is cold so bring a towel to dry your hands, gloves, it doesnt matter what socks your wearing your feet will get cold. No slush means good fishing on the Bow during winter.

That strecth of river is quite good, it looks like you had yourself an awesome day there. 7th pic down, holy spots batman! Great pics!

This will get me flamed im sure but I dont care, Im not blind to whats going on. Plain and simple "if the website was never formed these problems would not be happening in Calgary". Up until a couple years back you could fish anywhere anytime. Now you have to go out there and vigilant about were you are going. The ones that started the site and are all budiies will say "its ok, we are just growing the sport" we have heard 100 times before. I can gaurantee that half of us would like to go back about 5 years and start this thing over ot not at all. It certainly wouldnt be a free for all out there thats for sure. Lo9w holing and water poaching is just what happens when things get out of hand, complaining about it isnt even worth it anymore cause its only going to get worse. This problemcant be fixed.

The Bow is easily fished from shore, head to the south end of Calgary.

The year before last shouldve been. He was agreat player and still may be, just not here. Its very clear when you see him play that he does not want to be here anymore. As sick as we are of hearing the same old crap after every game, Iggy is equally as sick of saying it. He wants out and I say we ablidge.

Reffing played a huge role in the outcome of that game. We went from 2-1 to 3-2 in a amatter of minuts because of refs making bad calls. You cant play two or even one man down in this league and expect to win, thats reffing all the way. In the NHL a bad call against can turn the momentum in a second. The refs took our momentum and gave it to the Caps, its amazing to me that people that watch hockey dont see how much refs impact the outcomes of hockey games these days. I think its 50-50, 50% playing and 50% refs making bad calls. All that said, the Flames did not have to pack it in after the adversity hit in the 2nd, they couldve hung in there and tried a little harder. When you are in full control of a game, then refs start making bad calls and you lose control due to bad calls its tough to come back from that. I agree that the Flames mailed in the last two periods but there are factors involved, its not that they just didnt show up, its frustrating at best. IMO penalties need to be reviewd and reversed at the moment of review, just like goals. There is to much on the line to have refs affecting outcomes and every bad call affects the outcome which is a bout 4 in 5 calls, brutal to say the least. Mind you I pay attention, I guess thats why it bugs me so much!

My wife bought me this stuff, maybe I should actually give it a try. Ive got two bad shoulders, two bad knees and this year playing golf my bloody elbow started to hurt.........for no reason, it has bugged me since August!!!!!
