My advice is to be patient. Its not like fishing the Bow were 10 fish might seem like a slow day. You may only see one fish over your two days so be patient. Hang around at Dixons Dam and throw some big white streamers there are plenty of Pike and Walleye right at the boat launch. Be patient and dont expect to much, it will make for a long day.

They discounted the price for you Im sure right? At some point in time did you ask for some money back? Did they offer? Did they offer you an extra day? Did they offer you a free ride at a later date? Can you please PM me the name of the company, I would hate to get dropped off at the wrong lake.

Sorry, I meant the second pond I do believe its the main pond. I didnt consider the donut as one of them.

Ive caught a few Pike in the main pond in the last couple of years. Never seen a Perch but there are definitely Pike.

The guys fishing are idiots if they think they will fish the offleash park without seeing a dog in the water. As a fisherman the offleash park is the most aggravating place to fish, that why I dont fish there anymore. That said, people with dogs are just as ignorant. Regardless of who was there first it seems as though people with dogs feel intitled to be a--holes down there. I have been fishing there before when people walk right up and start tossing balls into the water while looking right at you, I have had the impression a couple of times that people are trying to piss you off. IMO, fisherman that expect everyone to get out of there way at the offleash park are totally F#$@ed. Dog walkers that choose to throw a ball in the water were someone is allready fishing are totally F#$@ed.

The problem with brining these two guys back is that they left here hated by all except for me (i only like ollie out of the two). Tanguay plays like a little girl, cant stand the guy and Im sure he is very pleased to be back in a city that basically ran him out of town. Ollie on the other hand I think is a great player, he works harder than anyone and tries every game. Its to bad we dogged him so bad last year before letting him go cause that could come into play. Either way I think we still have a really good team, hopefully they can get there s#@t together this year, its been a painfull few years!!

Policemans is such a a gong show anymore that going there isnt even an option at this point. However I was down at Mckinnon the other day and what I found was not a ton of garbage bags, cans etc. but lots of old line, leaders, tippet etc. laying in the parking lot. My shoe got wrapped around a couple of differant rigs while I walked around drinking coffee and taking pictures. Im sure its from guys pulling in, tying up in the parking lot and just clipping there old stuff off and leaving it were it lies. My wife is always asking me why the back of our new truck is full of pieces of fishing line lol!
