The Flames are really bad and reffing is sapping the fun out of watching hockey period.

I stopped watching right after the ref called a penalty on Morrison for interference, dude clearly had the puck, that was text book seperating the player from the puck. Boom PP goal for the Wild and the momentum was gone. Calgary should not have been put in the position of having to be a man down, that might have been the worst call ever. Again the refs cause a huge uncalled for momentum swing and totally affect the outcome. They need to start reviewing penalties, PP's are to good these days its like a goddam shooting gallery out there.

I caught the last 4 minutes, Calgary was killing a penalty. As soon as it ended the ref called another one, they were short handed for the last 4 minutes of the game. Calgary did all they couild to defend but when a ref gives the opposition that much of a chance eventually they will get you. Ive been saying it all along, refs factor in to more outcomes than people are willing to admitt and it is really sucking the fun out of it for the fans and the teams they tend to penalize more tha others. Im not biased but Calgary gets burned regularily, TOTAL F&%*ING BS!!!!!! that was painful to watch.

Anyone who played and doesnt think that was dirty obviously have no honour. Calling Smid and idiot for turning his back is like saying that a girl deserves to get raped for wearing a mini skirt! When a guy turns his back you dont sucker punch him, Avery new he would get tuned so he went the Avery way the cheap and dirty way! I do agree with the fact that his hit was clean but guys have to fight all time for hitting players teamates. I think its time for the league to make an example out of this guy and send him packing, there is no room in sports for guys like him. He is like a back stabbing punk out on the street that would shoot you in the back.

Try some stimmies in traditional or foam either way they work. Tie them large and small, the small ones will double as a caddis.

He is the cheapest, greasiest, dirtiest, most low class piece of garbage that I think has ever played hockey in my life time. Its one thing after the other and he does it with zero class! Hopefully someday he will get suspended for life or someone will KO him while his back is turned. Act like your not going to fight and then just attack the guy, he is such a piece of crap and until he kills or severly injures someone nothing will happen to him.

Black Caddis #14, #16, small stimmies #10ish. Try tying some big foam stuff with legs they always work great alone or with a dropper. Big Bugger patterns, any kind of small beadhead nymphs, weevils, princes's, hares ears, pheasant tails and then all the new stuff out there seems like there are always a bunch of new flies everytime you walk into a shop. I tie all of my own flies but still mill through the bins to see whats up!

Only saw the 3rd period, Hagman always tries so hard. I still think he was the best player in the Dion trade. Calgary needs to play from behind, they got down early and won. Seems like whenever they jump out to a lead they blow it. Anyways good job that was a must win!!

Waders are a good idea, I find that regardless of having them on or not I always end up in the water even if its just a couple feet. Regardless of the money you spend on them they will leak eventually so go cheap to start but definitely get some, you will get wet without them until you are able to cast longer distance and become more comfortable out there.

Fine man learn all you thats great. Solitude and long walks isnt what Im after I never said that, were does that come from. I stated my opinion about the site affecting #'s I wasnt whinning about my spot getting poached or complaining about to many people out there and Im not dumb enough to think that there are any secret spots either so Im not sure what your content comes from. I feel like I can come here ask a question and recieve knowledge. There has been alot of comments from people on this site mentioning that awesome members from back in the day dont come around anymore because of how goofy it gets, I mention it and all of a sudden you label people that stop coming here as non learners, you are exactly whats wrong with this site. You make it personal and cause tension because of someone elses point of view. Just for the record, some of the people I mentioned that dont come here anymore were some of the most knowledgeable and skilled fly anglers Ive ever met and or fished with! Your right about one thing man, more people means more idiots out there, I think thats kinda how this whole thing got started.
