It is ok to Name your kid Mohammed, because that is a person of free will, but the teachings of Mohammed, are against false Idols as there is but one true God in naming the bear Mohammed or drawing Mohammed, an idol is created. it would be akin to taking cheese to go with the wine and wafer at communion, or having ham and eggs for Passover. just not done Teck

Personally, I don't find it surprising that spey casting is driven by this site in the Calgary area. With all the information and tips you can easily obtain to get started it takes alot of the strangeness out of it. a lesson is great but eventually the teacher goes home, where with the FFC you just need to login in to get the answer, or better yet get a response of met me at the boat launch. thus making the discision that much easier to start. (I know that it is one of the main reasons I got started this summer). personally I don't see myself starting to spey cast for several years yet, I have always been of the mind "do 1 thing do it well then move on", and that will not be for a while with a regular fly rod. but it is on my to do list. Snakeman, he came out while a friend and IO were sitting there letting the buzz wear off and having a smoke before we drove home, he came up asked how old we were at the time I was about 18 then ask what we thought of the show (this was the 4th of 6 that we saw that summer) said it was great, he asked our fav song (for me it was Sugar Magnolia or Friend of the devil) he kind of said Wow and walked off. was kind cool, and a nice end to a buzz

Not that HawgStoppah, I'm just keepin my mouth shut. figure when the Powers that be decide what they want to represent their site for merchandise then I'll pull out the check book and buy sum stuff. but as long as I am writing i might as well share my opinion for what it is worth for a patch for my fly vest the simpler to recornize at a distance the better cause if I don't know the person I like to give them a wide berth so as not to disturb them or their run so being able to spot a patch or hat logo at 100' is good. and maybe Silkscreen the one Weedy is workin on onto tshirts, Hoodies and Bumper stickers. Mostly A right place at the right time type of thing. and being a bartend in 3 of the biggest clubs in Ottawa Helped. And in Toronto My Gramps knows everyone. I have never gone anywhere with him that someone didn't call out to him on the street, even last year I flew him out here from Toronto so he could see the kids and such we went took him up the Gondolain Banff for the view and he met three people he knew from their old winter home in Florida. the old guy is amazing.
