Is having the body wrapped in wire necessary? Will the fly hold up if I don't wrap the body in wire? I like the way they look without the wire body wrap but I'm not sure if they will fall apart right away. Thanks

Hey everyone Just tied these. Size 8 so not real small but give thoughts for improvement please. Thinner body, thicker tail, etc. I also think a bead head would do a better job for the smaller leeches but thats all I had lying around. Thanks Sorry mods meant to post this in fly tying, my bad.

Hey just wondering if anyone had some info regarding fortress lake? I would like to hike in there this summer and was just wondering if anyone has done the trek themselves or know people who have. Can't really afford to fly in at the moment although that looks great so if anyone has some information that may be of some help feel free to pm me. Thanks

Good to hear. just wondering why I can purchase daiichi for two dollars more and half the the quantity of mustad. do most of you guys sharpen your hooks? do you find that the hooks tend to bend on you due to a fish or a some other object they've become stuck on? thanks again.

The idea sounds great but I would just like to make sure I take all the precautions necessary and its not something I was looking to do alone for the most part. Thanks for the responses.

hey just wondering if anybody has done some back country hiking into rarely fished waters? i was thinking about picking up some topo maps and maybe trying to find some stuff, let me know if anyone has done this before or would be interested in maybe finding some untapped waters. thanks
