  1. Wicked birds. I love watching birds of prey. If I'm lucky, one day, I'll be privileged enough to witness something like this
  2. Sounds to me like Educating her is all you could really do. Clearly she misunderstood, or had a really old copy of the regs, as she said she checked and was allowed two, not one, like the quote BBT put up. Nice job educating her, at least she was embarrassed to be considered a "poacher". Next time, she'll likely read the regs a little more carefully. Is there anyway she may have thought she was at a different lake?
  3. Those are some sweet shots man! Nice macros!
  4. Well done Vicki. Glad we could help!
  5. Thanks guys! My wife and I went golfing out at Speargrass in Carseland today. Nice course. I can see why Carseland is so popular for fishing. Some great looking water out that way. First time I've ever wished I had my fly rod with me while I was golfing.....
  6. That game was a beauty! I missed pretty much the entire first half, as I was working, but I did catch the last half. What a game!
  7. This is a picture of a Bull Trout fruinincalgary caught last weekend on the upper Oldman. The weather was great, and it was my first time in the area. Craig said that the water was a fair bit higher than the last time he was there, so the fishing was kinda tough. I didn't have much luck that day, but Craid did very well, particularly with this Bully. I just loved the colours on it.
  8. Nickname from a few years ago. F**king New Guy It stuck and was prudent here as I was the FNG at the time. New to the sport, new to the board. Doesn't really apply now mind you, but hey. My new nickname at work is either D-Rock or D-Balls.....depending on who you talk to. lol
  9. No kiddin! Water was high, but not too bad for vis. Fish just weren't rising. Which was sad.

    Bully

Hit the Liv for the first time with fruinincalgary. He's been there plenty, and was nice enough to show me around. The weather was great, had an awesome day. Even if the fishing (for me anyway) wasn't that great..lol Did manage a couple of cutties (Craig has the pics) and that's about it. But Craig landed a beauty Bully. Colours were gorgeous, so I jumped at the opportunity to take some pics of it for him after I helped him land it. Not huge, but big enough. Big yapper..... Beauty colours. I was busy a bit down stream keying in on some of the only risers we saw ALL day! When he called out he had a Bull on, I came to take the opportunity to get my eyes on my first Bull. The river was higher than the last time Craig was out, but it was still fairly clear. Good trip all in all.
  11. Nice pics. Love that one of the fish swimmin away. Real nice.
  12. I have the same problem on my iMac. I haven't tried it with Firefox yet, maybe I'll give that a go.
  13. That's just awesome! She sure took some great shots!
  14. As always max, you slam some wicked fish and are as much a wizard with the camera as you are with your rod. Well done, and thank you.
  15. Looks like a lot of fun. I hope it continunes tonight when I get out there. Nice net.
  16. As disgusting as they are.....that's pretty friggin' cool.
  17. When I still had my HP desktop, we used the WiFi USB connector to hook up to the internet wireless. It is now discontinued, and for good reason. It was very buggy. When it worked, it worked great. Basically set up your desk top as a wireless router and used your existing internet connection through the computer. Now, with my iMAC, I just share the internet with the built in WiFi and connect through there. No additional hardware required, all built right in. There is a hardline LAN input on the back of the Wii, which would be the easiest, but if you have a LAN, then use the wireless. Works like a charm.
  18. Cute puppy! Looks like a real sweetheart.

    Browns

    nice browns dude! Beautiful colours.
  20. And a Tilley is $100. Talk about paying too much......
  21. Also noticed a great example of what random camping SHOULD be. Not a trace left to know you were even there. Looks like a great trip guys. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Happy Birthday man! See you at work! lol
  23. Why? Does a more expensive rod give you the clairvoyance enough to know what the fish are feeding on that day? It tells you exactly where the fish are holding? Or does having a nice feeling rod in your hand make you forget that your actually trying to catch fish and just play with your rod all day? Hell, you don't even have to leave the house for that........
  24. I might have to. If you were a bit taller, you wouldn't have to worry so much about it. Actually, I'm surprised your daughter hasn't already out grown you........
  25. I hope that it's a heavy book. And they aim for the head......
