  1. WFN man if you have it demand it from your cable provider..... but I am sure the big 3 carry brodcast it
  2. I'd like to see that too....... if not in person a pic with a tape would suffice
  3. yes I can, but no you can't have any....... the americans pay better
  4. I can't agree more, I have people all the time trying to haggle, and you're right we're not in Tijiuana...... you don't haggle when you are in walmart or superstore so why is it ok in a small retail location that get killed on margins
  5. your title should be Polar Bears are so Cool and thier hides make kick ass fly patterns. you don't need to spend tonnes of cash to see them, head to Baffin Island (relatively cheap flight) take a 3 minute drive to the dump at the west side of town in Iqaluet and there you go Polar Bears in their glory
  6. monger it appears to be a tube
  7. Fishpro match a good line with the predator 8wt and you'll be set . I use the Rio Clouser and it will chuck pretty much any fly, I have some 10" double bunnies for pikers that weight 1/4 oz and I can easily cast those far enough 60-70'. I've never landed a pike over 4' yet but I am sure the 8 would hold them. Pikers run... but never really far
  8. Fishpro... I own and have fished the predator series rods for 2 seasons now and the 10wt is a club, the 8wt is more then sufficent for any pike or bully for that matter. If you want a longer rod than the 8wt the 9 would suffice but the 10 is a pretty heavy stick. Now for your question at hand, I use the 3800 series and I don't think it would be the ideal reel, they are gorgeous and work everyway you want them to but the 3800 series is delicate..... Redington Rise reels are awesome for pike and balance perfectly on the Predator, the rises have a rock solid drag and they take a beating, they will still work when you drop your reel in the boat. A few of my buddies use the rise as well for pike
  9. can i have a dozen in orange.... I'm leaving tomorrow at 7am, thank you
  10. I'm replacing my TXL 2710 with a TXL-F 2710 I like to stay on the forefront of the Sage product lines so I will unload a rod that has been barely used.
  11. what are you expecting, 1000s of city employees with blow drivers
  12. Clearly not designed by a dude.... if it was the + - would be for "boobies" not breasts but RAD all the same
  13. How is the finish? I have been fishing the Rio Indicator line for the last season and love it but the finish is dull at the indicator part and it picks up dirt a bit. Clearly being a Rio line it's far superior to the SA I would love to cast these lines side by side on the same rod as I think the taper is near identical. Let us know how it stands up winter is the best time to wreck lines
  14. Gary, for me the Bow is huge and you can always find another spot with rising fish. If another angler is there, regardless of him noticing the fish or not ask him if he's going to fish up, down or at those rising fish. I've found a little conversation can defuse most hostilities, and have had several guys ask me if I want to fish at those rising fish as well. Just knowing the other anglers intended direction of travel can help.
  15. Wow I really thought that a bunch of the new guys would impart thier rad wisdom on this one... let's try one that is a little easier. You are fishing a river above a closed section, you hook a big fish, steelhead for arguement sake. The fish runs you downstream to the closed section. What do you do? On top of that you don't want to break this fish off as you are in the bush and that is your last indicator and bead.
  16. Thanks guys but the contact info listed in the above links doesn't work
  17. I couldn't find this on our regs, but realistically I didn't search to hard and it is probably provincially specific but maybe someone has an answer. If you are fishing a lake with a river out flow on one end, at what point does the lake become classed as the river? is it 500 m downstream?

  19. The mustang is the same ones i have in my boat, I got mine in green
  20. where does one get this code.... clearly the code police don't have my email because I have yet to receive a copy. Or perhaps you haven't completed it? Is it stuck at editing? Or is it that the :$*%&: elitests can even agree amongst themselves as to who's fishing method is the correct one?
  21. Yep that was probably me, Nymphing some beads slamming the cutts.... that's the sweet stuff. I know I have a fish when the indicator goes under..... ya
  22. Personally I'd go to for a convertable wader.... I wore the Simms G3 convertable a few seasons back, everyonce in a while you want to cross over your waste.
