If a large bull was to be caught while trying to spawn or on its way to the spawning area, would this deter him/her from continuing up stream? Would a female not dig redds if she was fighting against a rod prior? All these bullies look like monsters you could tackle with baseball bat... i wouldnt think catching and releasing, if taking all precautions, would be more then a small annoyance in there day?

The muskoka lake trip was indeed crazy mad cottage country. Seems like everyone has a boat and there dogs too! They muskoka pics are of a few smallies right off the dock with a childrens spin rod, kind of a joke. Was more of a beer week than a fishing week.

Hmm another red lambo.... original! I saw a guy on 17th with a white ferrari and then liscence plate was "not red" ... thought it was pretty funny.

ive only been back working three days... I could put next week to better use for sure!

So i just got back from a trip to Muskoka lake.... tons of fun! Then i got to chill out and fish everyday for a week.... Results: First fish on a streamer, looking for bulls but got this guy Biggest rainbow ive got with the smallest fly in my box. Thought it was fouled the way it was flying First bull ever! small...but man they hammer streamers Rainbow on the bugger Best fight ever.... first fish to take advantage of my backing again... Best bull so far....Made my day today. Medussa flesh flie Now back to work and fishing the bow at night.... hopefully the bow will be good to me. It hasnt been yet!

Went down south to the Livingstone on Tuesday.... had a decent day and had the river all to myself. So one guy just as i was heading up to set up camp. Met up with Bernie on Weds and had the best day of fishing ive had yet. I got 11 cutties, and bernie probably got over 20! Thursday headed to the Ram which was a slow day. We both had a couple of sniffs but the two fish were both caught on nymphs.... thanks for driving bernie. smiling cut One of the only two cuts from the ram The Ram Livingstone few weeks ago

Brought it in to fish tales today and talked to ome of the guys.... We had established that it is not a fly rod but a long trolling rod. I would love to post some pics let alone take some,camera took a spill in the river.

Parents were just over in there homeland visiting the whole team... my uncle sent back a bamboo fly rod. This thing is ancient... came from one of my uncles friends who's grandfather had passed and they found this in his basement. It isn't more then 9 feet and the guides, which were bound on with string, are broken or look like they should break soon. I was wondering where or if there is a place in Calgary that i would be able to take it in and get it fixed up thanks andy
