Learned a few lesson when i was surfing in Halifax a few weeks ago. Paddling out is one of the hardest parts about surfing. Once your out getting back in past the breaks can be even harder. I think it all comes down to weight, Waves are way heavier then you are! Same as a car and you still see pestrians jumping off the side walk.... sorry to hear this story.

That 1050 sw is pretty dope. Still has the 3x Optical zoom where as the pentax is 5x . I dont know a whole bunch about camera's, but do you think that is a huge difference?

Im leaning towards the the Pentax as it also has a better a zoom. Shredneck that an epic photo... so who has a underwater shot from the Pentax?

Alright, Im gunna buy myself a waterproof camera as my last one took a livingstone swim and drowned. I am thinking its between the Olympus Stylus 1030 sw and the Pentax W60. What do you guys think? Also, any other recommendations? andy

Well, Its gettin cold and my fingers feel like they will fall off when i get a fish and have to put them in the water. I have fingerless fleece gloves but still find my hands are numb after an hour or two. Does any one have any better suggestions? Anyone know of neoprene gloves that would be thin enough? I dont want to buy over the net to find that the gloves are too thick to feel a line between your fingers. thanks andy
