i've sent my sage in three times, it's taken six weeks, four weeks and the last time was two weeks (in the middle of summer). with the $50 plus postage charge each time i figure my rod is now worth close to $500. any takers?

a friend of mine has dug up an old fly rod in his garage but we can't find any information on-line about it. it's a 8'6" berkley para/metric cp40 8wt. it seems to be in nice shape but i don't have anything heavier than a 5wt line so casting it is pointless. can anyone out there shed some light on this mystery? is it fiberglass? is it worth anything? is it a piece of junk? thanks smart people.
