hi all, i'm going to be fishing the bow on foot on tuesday and wednesday and was wondering if anyone could point me in the general direction of a half decent strecth to fish from shore. i'll be staying south of calgary (okotoks?) and will be fishing the policeman's flats area one of the days but not sure where to go day two, would like to avoid the city. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks, kent.

the north bow lodge is certainly beautiful but very expensive as they want to guide you. even without the guiding it would be too much for me. looking for the $100/night range but it doesn't seem to exist. too bad.

for the full house but there's only two maybe three of us.

are these cabins and the bow river resort not the same place? i'm a few hours away from calgary so i cant investigate any further but if anyone can shed some light on this mystery it would be greatly appreciated.

$550/night is a bit out of my price range

they work great at dusk on a lake where there is caddis activity.

anyone know of any cabin rentals on the bow river below calgary? there are cabins downstream from the north bow lodge. anyone know if they are still for rent? thanks.
