  1. I've seen people with fabic bowls. Don't know where they get them. Personally I just let her fall all over the place until the wife gets mad enough that I clean it up....
  2. I had a very weird experience fishing Friday at Chain lakes. The weather got bad, so we decided to head in. As I was walking to my truck I got a series of shocks from my graphite rod I was carrying. As I was about to tell my friend of about this strange event when he jumped from a shock he got from his graphite rod. What I believe was happening was that the ground was becoming charged in responce to the charge of the storm clouds above us. In other words we were about to get hit with lightening. A good reminder graphite rods are pretty good conductors and that you are essentially holding a lightening rod while fishing. We were almost at my truck when this happened and made it home without a problem. By the way the fishing was poor with lots of mud. A couple of fish took a dry fly but that was about it....
  3. I'm afraid i have to apologize. I've never try rating an article before and mistakenly gave this a poor rating. Wasn't my intent. I meant to give it a 5. Had a good laugh.
  4. Black, leech red, brown and green are my favorite colors in order. Never had much luck with others, however I have to admit I haven't given them much of a chance...
  5. I've had good luck with these on lakes recently. I usually put a red bead or if I want more weight a tungston bead behind the cone. I also use a small amount of marabou for a tail.
  6. I have a blackberry with a gps. I carry it because of work. It's pretty good with regard to features etc. but personelly I hate carrying a phone around unless I have to...
  7. I've fished almost every weekend throughout the entire winter. Had worse days than today. I have however lost the feeling in my feet several times....
  8. The easiest cheapest way is if you know someone. I good friend of mine got me into it a few years back. Failing that I'd recommend you take lessons from a local fly shop. Teaching yourself to the point where you are able to catch fish is a long hard road.
