It was an inside job, so maybe they were fudging the inventory to hide the missing stock? It's not like someone came in one night and took 50 firearms. And while regrettable, there are many more firearms than these 50 on the streets available for sale. Pretty simple to acquire one. Maybe it would help if they would actually punish offenders instead of letting them out on bail or out of prison/jail because there is no room.

I think this discussion was on the old board too...and a couple of guys told about spray blowing up in hot cars. DO NOT leave your bear spray in a hot car. It can ruin the interior, plus possibly cause you to drive off of the road.

There was a guy last year, up around Edson I think it was, that killed a sow grizz with a knife. And I think it came for him from quite a ways away. The problem with "testing" your bear spray, is that I don't think they are meant for that. They are a one use item and have around 7 to 10 seconds of spray I think it is depending on what size you get. Once you have sprayed a bit, I don't think the rest of the can will last for long. If you want to see how one works, might be better to buy two and use one for practice.

So are they putting these soles on all of their models or just some of them or are they coming out with new models that have these soles and getting rid of the old ones?

I have always called them hens and bucks, as this is what is commonly used on the coast in regards to steelhead. The most obvious way to tell is the shape of the head on trout, the males have a larger jaw/head with a kype, and the females have a smaller more compact headshape. And you can also tell by how they fight, although not always, and sometimes it seems to be the opposite, but males will tend to fight with more of a bulldog technique and the females will be more arial.

You could fill the pontoons with styrofoam if they don't work on their own.

You might try looking around for some bass fishing.

With some of the steel that she has caught...I don't think she would get too excited about Bow River fish.

The actual amount of weight is going to depend on the depth and speed of the water you are fishing at that particular time. But yes, you usually want your SJW to be suspended just off the bottom. You can use a weighted SJW or add split shot 8 to 12" above your fly.

Isn't this what you do to the poor defenseless fishy? If you are going say that humans are no better than any other large mammals, then by the same token, we are no better than any living thing. What makes a large animal better than the littlest bug? Seems like if you are saying Andy is on a high horse, then you are on a high horse too. Why is a bear any different than an elk, deer or moose? The killing of a man is different because we are of the same species. So because we don't sustainably harvest humans as a means of population control, its not acceptable to harvest animals as a means of population control? What has happened in your life to give you these ideals? Seems to me that if you really truly believe this, then you should reduce yourself to a "helpless little pink piggy" and live like you believe. That sidewalk you shovel every winter and get meat for shoveling, used to be the home of all these animals you are against killing, so what gives you the right to displace those animals from the home they have had for milleniums?

I hunt bears.....albiet not griz. But good black bear meat is some of my favorite.
