  1. Well done Clyde -- congratulations. Andy, thanks for all your work -- it's been fun. Terry
  2. If all goes according to plan, my son and I will be getting there on Thursday. Unfortunately we have to leave Saturday afternoon, so will miss the big breakfast. Looking forward to the trip and meeting some more board members. -- it should be fun. Terry PS One4adventure -- my son is 37 so he won't be playing with your nephew -- at least not if the fishing is half decent .
  3. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, pike food. Great pictures Clive. Terry
  4. Hey Blair, have a great birthday -- hope you can get in some fishin time today. The way you were running around last weekend at the clave and banquet, I'd have pegged you at around 25 not 45 . Terry
  5. Something to consider if you're thinking about buying a BC license online, is that once you buy the main license online, you must buy your daily $20 classified waters permits online as well. That may not convenient or even possible when you're on a fishing trip. Terry
  6. There aren't any cheesy gift shops in the Pass -- those are all in Canmore and Banff. Terry
  7. Nice pattern Andrew. I'm with you on the choice of thin skin -- muchos easier and more durable than turkey quill and all the other olden days materials. Go with the flow materials wise -- synthetics rule. Terry
  8. I'm not sure what you mean by pollutant, since that term has been totally hijacked by the CO2/carbon/global warming crowd. Terry
  9. Come on Clive, don't be so cynical. The reason we now have penguins in the Arctic, is quite simple -- penguins are migratory birds. It has to be true since I saw it on TV (migrating penguins). Terry
  10. I've wondered the same thing, but haven't any experience that would indicate one way or the other. However, I've sure seen the fishing go south on a lake when loons start hanging around. Terry
  11. I'm odd -- 3wt, 5wt, and 7wt. Terry
  12. Come on Chris -- you know the problem is that most Flames fans (you not included ) have broken legs and are having trouble trying to crawl back on the wagon. Terry
  13. I can bring my saxophone -- well, maybe not. Terry
  14. DBT -- I vote to give BBB a break, and stretch the deadline. It's a long time since I've written exams (maybe a couple of centuries), but I'd have hated to have something as important as a KOTV round happen concurrently. And it's been such a great contest so far, no sense giving anyone, especially me, a free pass to the next round. Terry
  15. Better hurry -- with this weather, it's going to muddy up pretty soon. Terry
  16. Great pictures Jeff, thanks for posting. Here's a few from yesterday -- it was one gorgeous day. The snow and ice won't be there for much longer. Terry
  17. DrBT -- you didn't answer BBB's question. Can participants vote outside their brackets? Terry
  18. I usually get polarized prescription glasses (plastic lenses) every time I have my regular prescription renewed. If you recylce your frames, it's not that expensive in the longrun. And yes, you can get prescription polaroids. Terry
  19. Happy Birthday Clive!!!! Only 61, I thought you were an old fart . Have a great day. Terry.
  20. Forget the vice time and focus on the vise time -- we're all chompin at the bit and ready to go. Terry
  21. Saw an otter on the Crow last summer, so they're around. Couldn't believe my eyes, but there was no mistaking it. Terry
  22. Happy Birthday Brian -- I hope you get to hit the water today. Terry
  23. Dare I send this to my brother-in-law who is Irish and was a bricklayer? Tempting, but probably not. Terry
  24. So, the geezers won't be going to head to head after all -- just as well, now that I've seen your entry Clive. Terry
