  1. Jus' spoofin' ya but I betcha you got Schaupmeyer nervous, he tends to complain about heart problems when shown a link like that -_- Don't know about you but I actually felt sorry for the lions. Those cape buffalo are tough mean sonsabitches. Remember those old Jack O'Connor Outdoor Life stories?
  2. This one anything like yer last posting????
  3. Nah .......Clive's too damn old to move that fast..he may hurt himself besides I don't think he's forgiven anyone from the last time
  4. Fishin' vintage glass is a frickin hoot man, some of those old rods are so slow you can load them with just the leader hangin' out the tiptop.
  5. Ya watch brokeback mountain again Lynn?
  6. Why do I prefer fishin' for cutts and huntin' big horn sheep? Because they keep bankers hours.....they ain't out and about until 10 AM went things start to warm up in the high country. Other than fishing any time I can I like fishing from about 4pm till dark.
  7. Hey! I didn't say he wasn't talented........just a bit of a wanker........ Waa Waa Waaaahh all there way home You know where to find Sympathy don'tcha?................................................ in the dictionary somewhere between S**t and Syphilis :P BTW,The only way I'll try castin' with my off hand is when my head is all the way inside my jacket and I'm lookin out the second button hole.
  8. I generally find that generalizations generally suck but I'll think you'll find that a lot of the people rushing around frantically searching for a piece of "their's" haven't resided in the province all that long. Most of us long time residents have seen this all before and are just quietly minding our own business, adjusting as we go.
  9. Could be, triploid grass carp are more common than most realize.
  10. It's a old 135 Martin sold by Sears as a Ted Williams, got it off eBay. I recently started to have an interest in fishing vintage equipment. Kinda fun.
  11. That should stop any bitchin' about guides hoggin all the good water
  12. MTB, If those grass carp came from Claresholm it would be a long trip. Storm runoff from here ends up in the Old Man downstream of Ft MacLeod
  13. There's an outfit around that advertises exclusive float fishing trips on the Reserve. Can't remember the name but I've seen the advert somewhere this yr.
  14. Dems bar prints
  15. Show your posting to to your wife and it may improve your chances of goin' fishin' with the Jessicas
  16. Thanks Rick Really like those old photographs of the loaded down game poles and the like, shows how attitudes have changed over the course of time.
  17. Slick huh?
  18. I wonder if he's ever sunk a hook in himself
  19. 'K . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
  20. Huh???
  21. Not the best
  22. Outdoor pursuits have always been my getaway and I'll admit to spending years fishin', huntin' and skiing, sometimes gettin' paid for it but combating eminent starvation for 5 people, highly expectant and extremely narrowminded bankers and coupla hundred or so large grazers lookin' over the fence at ya have a way of becoming top priority. That said and while I have absolutely no plans for a complete "traditional" retirement, just a slow change in direction, I hope that within the next 4 or 5 yrs to be able to be more like Schaupmeyer and/or Andersen and go fissin' when and where I effin' well please, thank you.
  23. Tell the bears and cougars that all Calgarians are high in nutritional energy and taste really really good!
