Jayhad Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I love it, the more rain teh better it keeps people off of the bow and I tend to find more fish myself when the water is teh way it is. Got some real nice browns and bows the last couple of days, today was no different.... in teh rain Quote
Tungsten Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I love rain, the smell the sounds its all good. The cooler weather is a relief too. Quote
fishfreak Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 i suck at streamer fishing, so i'll go with my double SJW combo with a copper john up top. fun times to be had on uncrowded but dirty water! Quote
Pipestoneflyguy Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Most of the tribs run pretty close to clear even with rain - not the Bow though, it is chocolate right now, creates some sweet ass clear/dirty seams that pay off really well. The rain does create a great excuse to haul the belly into small alpines which are hopping these days, and you don't sweat to death on the way up too Quote
126barnes Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 if you don't want it........send it my way...........we are dying out here. Quote
Smitty Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Yeah, I've learned to embrace rain; we generally need it in AB. Less dependency on irrigation, keeps reservoirs full, stream temps down, etc. Smitty Quote
