Flytyer
Which colour or colour combination do you think best represents the Flyfish Calgary community? I looking at colour schemes for a project I'm toying with that may be board and site related. Appreciate any ideas or suggestions you may have. Tungsten
Brown trout colours.
darrinhurst
I'd second that. Something softer than white and black, or white and blue. Something easier on the eyes. Maybe a moss green as the Title Bar and button Colours, but something like a soft yellow, or a butternut for the main windows. Wow.....how gay do I sound right now....... Flytyer
Seems like brown trout is popular. I took some colour readings from the first photo at this link: http://flyfishcalgary.com/board/index.php?showtopic=8834 and these are the resulting swatch colours Which colours? cheeler
I or a bit lighter for the main text area, B for the title bar, J for the post divider, and C for the name/button bars? Hard to imagine without seeing it. I would love to see some bull or cutty color in there though.
birchy
How about brook trout colors?
Lundvike
Blue seems liike an obvious choice as everything we do revolves around water, otherwise I like E and B.
Flytyer
I should point out that I'm only looking at backdrops without title bars and buttons. Lynn, your suggested colours could make a very interesting gradient.

Flytyer
Here's a gradient of the sample swatches I posted earlier in this thread; it contains all 10 swatch colours. To me it seems a bit too much.......opinions?

My personal thoughts are to go with no more than 5 colours but which 5 is the question.
