Brunsie Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Brunsie who are you fooling....you can't catch fish. I'd catch more if you'd show me your "secret spot" Weedy1 So now it's at 1000+ Is that 4 people looking 250 times or 250 people looking 4 times. BK Quote
Jayhad Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Taco to far south for me, you can keep it Quote
Harps Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 little experiment, here's one of my current favorite criks, lets see if there's more than one set of boot tracks next summer, 49 52'51.86"N, 114 03'12.70"W TACO!! I can't believe you just let out the secret. Actually, i was just chatting with a local biologist about wipping all the trout out of those creeks and stocking WCT... I think what your creek runs into would make an excellent trout creek. You gonna be in Lethbridge for the TU meeting? Quote
Taco Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Paul, probably would, the Waldron has done a pretty good job on the riparian zones, bottom end in the reserve and through the old King place needs a bunch of work though. I'll be @ the meeting unless some cow runs me over Quote
jksnijders Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 old King place Is that the one those 2 old bachelors lived on? Read a bit about them, pretty interesting ... Quote
Gil Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 No Kidding...pretty sure I've been there...I didn't google the location but I think I know that creek...when I was there there was a pretty big road sign stuck in a corner about 1/2 a click from any roads.I fished there a while back. I hate it. Broke my spey rod and lost a ton of streamers. However I found a great place just out of Ft. Mc. Caught some really cool huge fish that were sucking back dead ducks. Didn't have any eyes. Weird. PS. watch out for security gaurds... Quote
Hawgstoppah Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Hey Taco... Your picture and your GPS co-ords don't show the same place. Your GPS co-ords show a spot that we all know has absolutely no fish whatsoever. PS: did you fish that spot before the bloody damn got put in? Quote
Taco Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Tell ya what... Find this tree and you'll be pretty damn close to those coordinates and if you're stealthy enough you'll find some of these... don't remember seein' any damn dams Quote
Lundvike Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Anyone wishing to post exact locations should pm me with the coordinates first and I will let you know if you should post them or not. Quote
Hawgstoppah Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Taco. Unless I am wrong on the co-ords...I guess my map's showing a spot that's just upstream of where a reservior NOW is located. The stretch shown by your co-ords in my humble opinion, used to fish a LOT better... (mind you, I haven't fished it for about 4-5yrs now) Quote
Taco Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 wouldn't know about that Brian, use Google Earth, I did Quote
