Sutter's the man in Calgary, anyone that shoots him down, doesnt know hockey. The man is a great contributing factor to turning this team around, he practicaly took over in every situation like he has done for many teams, and make them a cup contender. l read his bio and l really think he deserves a cup, and so does the team and the fans. Hard pressed to find any better fans then what we have in calgary. GO FLAMES

Shoot down Sutter and you don't know hockey? I disagree.

I think he has made some good moves, and some real stinkers - particularly with bringing in some dinosaurs on defense. He let Giordano go to Russia and then signed Hale and Erickson in the same year. And don't get me started on Bert. Its fair for somone to question him.

As a scout he has done pretty well.

The Flames run in '04 was fantastic. Best time I've had in this city since i got here in '95 ('88 and '89 were probably even more fun). But lets face it - they were an overtime away from being bounced in the first round. Since then, they have underperformed.

I didnt know we were comparing him to scotty bowman? now lets see he has been with teams that all had allstar calibre players so winning cups like he did wasnt that great in my books, as for Sutter thanks for pointing out his stats, Its great to see that every year he brought a team that was down and out for awhile to the playoffs. Example Chicago,San jose, and Calgary. Still a great coach and manager, maybe doesnt have all the fame and rings like Bowman but deserving of one thats forsure.

Looks like the Flames record since '89. They are a match made in heaven!

Been watchin preseason games and so far so good. The win last night was great, The team looks solid and cant wait for the cup to come home...Go Flames Go

Yep they've been so good in a few games of exhibition hockey (other than that absolute beat-down from the Canucks), you might as well start planning the parade route already! :D
