chiasson Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Surgical removal of a fish hook from the eye. Pretty nasty video, be warned. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/254360/fish_hook_in_the_eye/ Quote
Guest RedWiggler Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 I just out my glasses on, and I am never taking them off again Quote
duanec Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Pretty nasty video, be warned. should not have watched that before breakfast... Quote
gillmy Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 That would suck. Also good to wear a hat with a brim all the way around. Last year I took a hook in the ear from my newbie brother-in-law. It felt like getting hit with a bullet - hook went right through the thin part of the ear and then when he stopped the cast, the hook turned and poked through again. So I ended up with a nice fly hanging out th :derby racer: :derby racer: e back of my ear and two holes. Never liked that guy. Quote
cdock Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 YUCK! I've got Oakleys with interchangable lenses and I got myself a clear lense for night fishing and low light. Always protected! Quote
SilverDoctor Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Always protect myself with glasses and polar glasses with sides. Twice I've had to cut hooks off for stranger that impaled themselves, both times in ears. Side cutters sure come in handy. Quote
Crogg Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Very nice work! Wonder if it was a barbless hook... Quote
maxwell Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 that vid creeps me out.. seen i tposted a few times on this board and others.. never ever wear glasses and i wana pick up a pair of clear ones for after dark..... Quote
MMAX Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Looked like some variation of a hare's ear wasn't it? Quote
LynnF Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 I'm not even gonna watch it. I already know better to wear my glasses at all times when fishing in a boat with Mike Quote
