polegrl Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 I can't believe I read through the entire thread on beyond.ca and now find myself fighting the strange urge to put a "claw" sticker on my bumper. Having been the victim of theft, the one thing that irks me is that members of the general public using a photograph and publicly available websites were able to do in two days that which Calgary Police are funded millions of tax payer dollars to do daily. I guess my irk has two components: 1. What is CPS doing? There have been car thefts of FFC members as well. Not that 2 forums are a representative sampling of Calgary but still...makes you think. 2. Is society heading towards vigilante justice? Am reminded of the opening to "The People's Court" with good ol' Judge Wapner - Don't take the law into your own hands, take them to court.
