BowLurker Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Well, I guess I'm going first. Bead-head Olive Woolly Bugger. One of the best I've ever tied. #humble 3 Quote
SilverDoctor Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Nice, you should be proud of that one. 1 Quote
fishjunkie Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 I've tying a few of these. They are on Gamakatsu C16-B size 12. I've also tie a few of Gary LaFontaine dancing caddis on these hooks as well. 3 Quote
BowLurker Posted March 18, 2022 Author Posted March 18, 2022 Started on the tube fly journey late in 2021, and tying them like crazy in '22! Bottom left is a traditional full-body called 'Sillen' with a half-turbo tungsten cone. The middle is a non-body called 'In Flames', a favourite for stained, cold water. Tied using a TTT and full tungsten cone. The right non-body fly and the body with hook was a freestyle tie, using a TTT and full brass cones. I love tube flies. 2 Quote
SilverDoctor Posted March 18, 2022 Posted March 18, 2022 Nice job, I like tubes, better hookups and releases. Have used them on Kootenay Lake Rainbows with great success. 1 Quote

BowLurker Posted October 23, 2022 Author Posted October 23, 2022 Hadn't tied an Intruder for a while, and decided on blue! Squirrel tail, pheasant rump feathers and then guinea hen feathers, with a rabbit zonker strip. I kinda like it! 3 Quote
