Odd Items Caught While Fishing

I caught the clap trolling one time.

Black headed gull last year...he has my copper john and stonefly nymph still. Had to reel him in and he was a little feisty as I was trying to cut him loose. Gulls need to watch where they are flying when fly fisherman are casting.

A couple of weeks after Troutlover landed the zombie Burbot, I nymphed up this ex-trout. Hook wasn't quite in the mouth but close enough. "Caught" in a very fast riffle in about 3ft of water. That was the day I burned all my indicators

Caught in 70 feet of water at Lower Kananaskis.. If you look close you can see my Jig!!

 

Would have been awkward if there was still someone sitting in the chair!
